5 Reasons You Need to Try Poshmark If You Want New Clothes
As a teacher, I love getting new clothes... but I'm on a budget. I'm a huge fan of Stitch Fix, but I can't always afford some of their high prices.
Enter Poshmark, a true game changer for any fashionista out there. Poshmark is a fashion buying and selling platform (it even has its own app). All sorts of women sell items on there. These are not used, holey clothes, though. Many women sell items new they just haven't used or items that don't work for them.
I have gotten some amazing steals on Poshmark, including Liverpool jeans (usually $88) for $20, brand-new. The shipping is fast, and the community is truly great. Here are more reasons I love it. If you want to give it a try, use this link and code LADETWILER and you'll get $10 for signing up and giving it a try!
1. You can get designer labels and name brands up to 70% off
My favorite Stitch Fix brands are all on Poshmark. But you can find anything. Did Kohls run out of your size in your favorite Lauren Conrad jeans? Find it on Poshmark. Are you sad that Target doesn't carry Sam & Libby shoes anymore? Poshmark.
You can get any brand your heart desires at a fraction of the price, truly.
2. You can get new with tags items
There is a search option where you can filter new with tags items only if you don't want anything used. I have bought tons of New with Tags items from Stitch Fix at about 70% off the regular price.
3. You can make an offer to get a better bargain
Each item has an offer button. You can offer the seller a lower price. Also, if you like items with the heart, sometimes sellers will send you offers with special discounts. It's really fun to try to get a better deal, and you can really get some steals.
4. You can sell clothes you don't need anymore
You don't have to, but if you want, Poshmark makes it easy for anyone to sell items they have that they don't want. Do you have some clothes with tags on them you just haven't worn? Turn those clothes into cash. It's easy to get started, and Poshmark takes just a small cut.
5. You can get a FREE $10 just for trying it
Sign up with my code LADETWILER to get $10 off your first order. But HURRY, this offer won't last long! Click here and then use the code to claim your free Poshmark cash.
Stitch Fix Box Review
So the last thing I ever needed was another subscription.
My mailman is probably already sick of delivering boxes to me. And I definitely also don't need any new clothes.
But when my best friend told me about Stitch Fix, of course I signed up. Because more fun mail instead of bills? A stylist telling me what to wear? Yes, please.
Stitch Fix is a subscription box that is really neat for a few reasons. You can pick your schedule. You can get the box once a month, once every other month, or on demand.
You simply pay $20 for the styling fee. You fill out an extensive survey, and a stylist picks out outfits based on your preferences.
Whatever you don't want, you send back in a postage paid bag. Whatever you want, you simply pay for on invoice. Simple as that. The $20 styling fee is also deducted if you buy anything.
I was so pumped when I got my first box. Honestly, I am a cheap-o when it comes to fashion, so there was some sticker shock.
Nevertheless, the jeans were the best damn jeans I've ever tried on in my life. Seriously. Like I never find jeans that fit...and these fit like a glove. At $88, they are a splurge for me...but a splurge I, of course, had to have, nonetheless.
Check out my video review below and let me know what you think in the comments. My friend has said that it gets better as you go because each time you return things, you leave feedback.
If you want to try your own box, sign up here and we'll both get a $25 credit. Fun!
